A Wayside Stop for Weary Walkers

A Wayside for Weary Walkers Dedication RockThe Geneseo Park District along with the Garden Club work to maintain beautiful Anderson Memorial Park after a generous land donation by the Anderson Family. Anderson Memorial Park is located on the corner of Main and Illinois Street. A gazebo, swing, benches and a newly added ADA compliant picnic table allow citizens a place to rest, relax and reflect.

 

 

Living Memorials PlaqueLIVING MEMORIALS. The Geneseo Park District is proud offer the Anderson Memorial Park Program. The living memorial program which allows you to remember a person, eventor organization by having a tree, ornamental planting, or shrub planted in their name. With your monetary contribution, the tree, flower or shrub will be planted in the park along with the name of the person and the year displayed on a plaque. There are 8 gardens available for planting of flowers by community organizations. Contact Molly Hamer at 309.944.5695 to give a living memorial today.
