DAY CAMP COUNSELOR

Under the supervision of the Day Camp Manager the Day Camp Counselor will provide games and activities in a safe manner throughout the summer months. The Day Camp Counselor must have the ability to work independently and under the general direction of the Day Camp Manager and the Superintendent of Recreation. The Day Camp Counselor must exhibit professionalism while performing daily activities; must be 16 years or older; must be able to work summer months May – August and must be available to work weekdays between the hours of 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.

AQUATICS CENTER LIFEGUARD

The Geneseo Park District is searching for Aquatic Center Lifeguard. The Aquatic Center Lifeguard is responsible for performing a variety of duties to prepare the pool for the demands of the group that is present. The Lifeguard must be at least 16 years of age and has to be in the possession of the Starguard Lifeguard Certificate, or the equivalent. He/she must have or be able to successfully complete CPR and first aid certification. This is a part time position and is approximately 10-30 hours per week. Work is performed at a self-controlled pace but may vary depending on the demands of the job required. The Lifeguard is required to participate in monthly training sessions to demonstrate knowledge or ability to perform work activities.

BEGINNING GYMNASTICS INSTRUCTOR

The Geneseo Park District is searching for a Beginning Gymnastics Instructor. This position will be under the supervision of the Recreation/Aquatics Supervisor and will be responsible for the planning and instruction of children 3 years and older interested in a beginning gymnastics program. The prospective candidate must be able to complete tasks independently and engage with the public. He/she must also be able to work evenings and/or weekends. The Beginning Gymnastics Instructor is a part-time position working approximately 5-10 hours per week.

ATHLETICS LEAD INSTRUCTOR - Golf

The Geneseo Park District is searching for an Athletics Lead Instructor for Golf. This position will be under the supervision of the Superintendent of Recreation and will be responsible for the planning and instruction of children 6 years and older interested in a beginning golf program. The prospective candidate must be able to complete tasks independently and engage with the public. He/she must also be able to work evenings and/or weekends. The Athletics Lead Instructor- Golf is a part-time position working approximately 10 hours per week.
