Each of our Bright Beginnings programs is designed for a specific age group (2s, 3s, and 4s). Whether it’s your child’s first time or they’re returning, they can join the class that fits their age — no prior class required.
As a part of the Geneseo Park District, Bright Beginnings Preschool students get an enhanced learning environment by utilizing all The Center has to offer...from the gym to the kitchen & beyond!
Plus... 2 field trips and 2 programs each year!

Twinklebrights
The only 2 year old preschool in Geneseo!
Two year olds love to feel like big kids, so why not let them go to school? This structured class will get little learners ready for preschool. This class is for 2 -3 year olds. The child must be 2 years old by September 1st. Classes run 45 minutes, 1 day per week. This means your child participates in this program without a parent. What this also means is...45 minutes each week all to yourself!

- Tuesday Class Times: 11:15 am - Noon | TU

Fees: $30 per month M / $60 per month NM [$270 per Year M / $540 per Year NM]
Teacher: Mrs. Ramp. Kathy Ramp has a B.S. in Elementary Education from ISU with a Masters in Reading from WIU.
Fee Details: School year Class Fees are based on Member (M) or Non-Member (NM) status. You can purchase a Household Membership or a Youth Membership to receive the discounted pricing. Preschool fees are based upon a yearly rate but can be paid by the month for no additional fee.
Starbrights
Our 2 day a week preschool class offers a structured learning environment. We introduce letters, numbers, fine motor skills with lots of fun, dramatic play and themes. This will help each student grow academically and socially. This class is for 3 - 4 year olds. Child must be 3 years old by September 1st. Classes run 2.5 hours Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Kinderbrights
Our 3-day a week pre-kindergarten class builds on what students learned in Starbrights. In a structured setting, students will continue learning letter identification and sounds, daily S.T.E.M activities as well as plenty of music, art and free play to reinforce classroom themes. This class is for 4 - 5 year olds. Child must be 4 years old by September 1st
Classes run 2.5 hours Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.

- Preschool fees are due the first class of each month.
- Bright Beginnings Preschool begins after Labor Day & ends before Memorial Day. Preschool follows the Geneseo School District 228 calendar for full days off (does not include scheduled early dismissals or half days).
- Bright Beginnings will not go past the scheduled school year, even if emergency school days are used by the Geneseo School District.
- Bright Beginnings Preschool is located through the Gym in the 1st classroom in the Growth Inc. building.
- Bright Beginnings Preschool is not affiliated with Growth Inc. Child Care Center. Children from Growth Inc. are welcome to attend Bright Beginnings Preschool and will be picked up by the teacher on class days.
- A waiting list is available for all full preschool classes.
Bright Beginnings Preschool Cancellations:
- Preschool follows the Geneseo School District 228 calendar for full days off (does not include scheduled early dismissals or half days).
- On days when Geneseo School District cancels because of weather, Preschool is also cancelled.
- On days when Geneseo School District releases early because of weather, afternoon Preschool is also cancelled.
- On days when the Geneseo School District starts late Starbrights & Kinderbrights AM classes will be cancelled. Starbrights & Kinderbrights PM and Twinklebrights classes will be held as scheduled.
