Workplace CPR – 7008

This American Red Cross course is designed for those businesses or groups who would like their employees to be certified in Choking, Rescue Breathing and CPR. Knowing what to do in an emergency will give staff and patrons a sense of security. To schedule a training, please call Jackie Beach at 944-5695. Community Heart Health, Education and Cholesterol Screenings

Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. The four main causes of heart disease include abnormal cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking and diabetes. This one day program focuses on monitoring and controlling cholesterol and blood pressure, to help promote a healthy heart. For each participant, the program includes a lipid profile containing important information about their cholesterol levels and a blood pressure screening. This program also includes a presentation emphasizing the risk factors, and how a heart-healthy diet and healthy lifestyle choices can prevent heart disease.

Fee: $40/person (minimum 8 people)

Business Memberships

• For an annual fee of $300, employees will receive a 25% discount on the annual membership of their choice at the Geneseo Community Center.
• For an annual fee of $575, employees will receive a 35% discount on the annual membership of their choice at the Geneseo Community Center.
