Golf
The Athletics Department is offering two types of golf experiences this summer.
REC GOLF & SWIM (Play 3-5 holes & swim with games & prizes) #2060
Our Rec Golf & Swim program (2060) is designed for younger players just starting out or for any player looking for an opportunity to learn and play golf purely for fun. Space is limited to 48 participants (12 foursomes). There will be 3 instructors assigned to this program, they are Ted Keopple, Kelsey Lieving, and a player to be named later. Instructors are responsible for checking players in, providing basic instruction to participants, coordinating special events, and supervising overall play. We also coordinate an army of volunteers that donate their time to marshal. This brave crew of citizens help foursomes keep up a good pace of play and to help with any questions. Participants will play a modified round of 3-5 holes. Our younger players will play holes #7, 8, and 9. More experienced players will play a combination of holes #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #6 with a shotgun start. As players complete their round, we congregate on the deck to review the contests and award prizes. Upon completion of that presentation, participants are free to grab a snack, go swimming, play on the playground, or work on the putting green.
