All classes are taught in private, air conditioned rooms.

Classes begin the week of June 1st and cost is for a 1 month session.

Classes will not be held on July 4th.

Lengthen and Strengthen Yoga will not be offered the month of August.

All classes have a participant minimum/maximum.

Walk-in Fees:

Walk-ins are welcome in all fitness classes (except Tae Kwon Do) unless the class has met it’s maximum.

High Intensity Classes

 

Crank It Up & Step It Up: A perfect combination of step aerobics with intervals of muscle toning and

cardiovascular conditioning. Core work and stretches at the end of class will provide a well balanced

workout.

 

Cycle X-press & Cycle X-treme: Try something new! Our indoor cycle program will change the way

you look at fitness.


Early Bird Circuit: Get your workout in early before your day begins. This revitalizing workout will offer

a variation of interval training, drill sequences, core strengthening and balance training while moving

through a series of circuit stations.


Just Muscle Power: This is a co-ed interval strength training class combining upper, lower & core

strengthening exercises. Strength training is an essential component to maintaining and developing

bone density. Our trainers challenge you to take this one.


Pilates Pump: A combination class with half cardio, half Pilates. It consists of cardio blasting “burn”

exercise, blended with light hand weights to speed the firming process. These exercises will be

followed by traditional Pilates floor work to strengthen your entire body.


Moderate Intensity Classes


Smart Start: This class is designed for the age group of 45 - 65 to incorporate low impact aerobic

exercises with balance, strength and flexibility fitness concepts.


Tae Kwon Do: Looking for a new way to get in shape and learn the skills that will enable you to protect

yourself? Students will learn self-defense techniques, develop better eye-hand coordination, and self

discipline.

 

Low Intensity Classes

 

Lengthen & Strengthen Yoga: An all levels class where Iyengar yoga techniques will combine postures,

breathing, promote strength, flexibility, stamina, balance, and deep relaxation of the mind and body.

Class will not be offered in August.


Yoga For Life: Get back to the basics for health, life and flexibility. Iyengar yoga is positive for all ages.

 

Forever Fit: This class is designed for the age group of 65 and up with intent to focus on core strength,

balance, flexibility, and strength training. The emphasis of this class is to build endurance to enjoy an

independent lifestyle.


Specialized Wellness Programs

 

Exercise and Diabetes: Class outline will consist of specially designed fitness exercises to combat the

affects that Type II Diabetes has on the body. Exercise has been found to be the key component against

diabetes by eliminating risk factors that arise from it.


Blood Pressure Screening:
Monthly appointments are made with a personal trainer to screen for

abnormal blood pressure readings.

Cost: Free for Members $10 Resident/$20 Non-Resident

 

Cholesterol Screening: Consist of Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglyceride screenings.

Results will be compared to the American Heart Association guidelines. Must fast 12 hours prior to

testing. Screenings will be conducted on Friday, June 27, July 25 or August 29,

15 minute appointments from 7:00 - 8:00 am.

Cost: $25.00 for Members $50 Resident/$75 Non-Resident

 

Personal Training: One-on-one instruction that incorporates goal setting and health education into

challenging workouts specially designed for each individuals’ specific need.

5 Sessions $130 Member/$260 Resident/$390 Non-Resident

10 Sessions $210 Member/$420 Resident/$630 Non-Resident

*1 Session $32 Member/$64 Resident/$96 Non-Resident

*Clients must purchase a 5 or 10 session package,before purchasing a 1 session package.

 

Fitness Orientation

 

An introduction to our weight and cardio equipment. Learn how to operate each piece of

equipment properly. Orientations will be offered the first two weeks of each month.

Fitness Assessments


Are you still using a bathroom scale to measure your fitness gains? If so, you might be missing

some important information. The Tanita body composition analyzer will calculate your weight,

muscle mass, fat mass, basal metabolic rate and body fat percentage in a matter of seconds.

Assessments will be offered the third Tuesday and Wednesday of each month.

15 minute appointments.

Tuesday: 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Wednesday: 11:15 am - 12:15 pm

Age: 16 and up

Geneseo Bike Club

 

Enjoy the summer months while participating in a moderate intensity bike club. Geneseo Bike Club

is a Geneseo based riding group that consists of community minded fitness individuals who have come

together to train and promote the sport and lifestyle of bicycling. Learn & experience the fundamentals

of road riding through instruction from a range of our lead bicycle enthusiasts. Rides will be held on

specified Saturday mornings and will consist of 1-1/2 hour rides that depart from B&B Lawn Equipment

& Cyclery. Take your riding experience outdoors and start a new level of fitness! An introductory meeting

will be held to discuss the details and equipment required on June 14th at 9:00 am at B&B Lawn

Equipment & Cyclery, 802 S. Chicago St. Geneseo, Illinois.

 

Riding Dates: June 21st, June 28th, July 12th, July 26th, August 9th, & August 23rd
