A fitness center membership for your employee means:

Membership Rate
If your business pays a non-refundable annual fee of $300, all of your employees will receive a 25% discount on the annual membership of their choice at the Geneseo Community Center.

ON-SITE CORPORATE HEALTH & WELLNESS PROGRAMS
Wellness 101
Obesity and stress are the most common health hazards in the American workforce. These habits can contribute to low morale, reduced productivity, absenteeism and increased health care costs. In this ten week on-site program, your employees will learn the importance of a healthy diet, regular physical activity as well as stress relief technique options. The program will require participants to attend one weekly health counseling session that will consist of nutrition advisement, weight monitoring, and a presentation focusing the health and wellness topic of the week. At the end of the ten week session each participant will have all the knowledge and resources to continue making healthy choices and maintaining a health lifestyle.

Community Heart Health, Education and Cholestrol Screenings
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. The four main causes of heart disease include abnormal cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking and diabetes. This one day program focuses on monitoring and controlling cholesterol and blood pressure, to help promote a healthy heart. For each participant, the program includes a lipid profile containing important information about their cholesterol levels and a blood pressure screening. This program also includes a presentation emphasizing the use of education on the risks factors, a heart-healthy diet and healthy lifestyle choices that can prevent heart disease. Instructor – Keith Egert, Wellness Coordinator.
Fee: $40/person (minimum 8 people)

Cholesterol Screening
Consists of Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglyceride screenings. All results will be compared to the America Heart Association Guidelines.
Fee: $25/person
